ibug urban art festival began in Meerane, germany in 2006. It developed into a globally known and renowned urban art festival over the years. The multi-day festival comes with music, film, design and art and happens traditionally on the last weekend in August every year.

WENU did 2 walls for the festival. The first wall or room was painted in 2013 under the theme "Stop Spying On Us" and later as "Stand Spy Me" as the final title. The 2nd room was painted in 2016 with the topic about poverty gap.
